Site Glossary
When I first started reading sites and forums about conception/pregnancy, I discovered there is a plethora of acronyms which people utilise. I’m not generally keen on using such things myself, but they do make posting a bit easier sometimes and those interested in the subject tend to be familiar with them anyway.
For those that aren’t, here’s a list of the more common terms you’re likely to see in this blog:

BD – Baby Dance (sex, nooky)
BFP / BFN – Big Fat Positive / Negative (pregnancy test result)
CD* Cycle Day (* denotes day number)
CM – Cervical Mucus
DPO – Days Past Ovulation
EVAP – Evaporation Line (faint grey line on pregnancy test)
EWCM – Egg-White Cervical Mucus (most fertile mucus)
FRER – First Response Early Result (brand of digital pregnancy test, quite pricey)
FXed – Fingers Crossed
